Next International Footwear Congress to be in China

The 22nd UITIC Congress will be held in the city of Shanghai.

Chen Zhanguang – vice president of the China Leather Industry Association – has announced that the 22nd International Footwear Congress is to be held in the city of Shanghai during 2025 and will run alongside the All China Leather Exhibition.

The most recent edition of this event, which is organised by the International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians (UITIC), was held in Italy in September of this year. Over 300 industry bodies from 21 countries – including Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom – took part in this 21st congress in Milan and the nearby town of Vigevano.
