Skechers logs record quarterly sales
The company sold footwear to the value of USD 2.02 billion during Q3.
US-based footwear producer Skechers has reported an overall 7.8 per cent growth in sales for Q3 of 2023 when compared to the same period of last year. This success has resulted in a record figure of USD 2.02 billion (GBP 1.65 billion) for the quarter.
The company’s direct-to-consumer sales in the three months to the end of September rose by 23.8 per cent year-on-year to USD 850.4 million (GBP 695.9 million). This was due to increases of 17.3 per cent in the Americas, 24.2 per cent in Asia Pacific and 60.8 per cent in the EMEA region.
According to chief operating officer David Weinberg, sales in all regions increased. This included a boost of 7 per cent in the United States due to continued strength in Skechers’ DTC channel, and in Asia Pacific, with growth of 18 per cent in China.
