ZHAaron benefits from SATRA course
The SATRA Footwear Foundations course enables him to better communicate and collaborate with the various teams in his company.
Congratulations to Aaron Schaafsma from Wolverine Worldwide, who has successfully completed the SATRA Footwear Foundations course and passed the end of course review.
The SATRA Footwear Foundations course features 12 modules covering a range of shoemaking subjects, including ‘design’, ‘upper materials’, ‘sole attachment’ and ‘testing’. It includes explanatory diagrams, photographs and videos, as well as interactive quizzes to help users grasp the technical aspects of the subject matter.
Commenting on the value of the syllabus, Aaron says: “I work in quality assurance and handle post-production quality issues from various areas and regions of the business daily. This course helped me better understand the different facets of footwear manufacturing and how to better communicate and collaborate with the various teams, ranging from product development to fit and lab teams, all within a global organisation.”
