PUMA to open creative studio in LA
The company plans to open the new facility in early 2025.
Sporting goods producer PUMA has announced its intention to open a ‘PUMA Studio’ in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles in early 2025. The company describes this as a creative space in which its design and marketing teams will be brought closer to the most influential communities and celebrities, in order to inspire products and campaigns for the strategically important US market.
The decision to open a creative space in LA is said to be part of PUMA’s strategic priority plans to win increased business in the United States. By tapping into what it calls ‘the rich ecosystem of creative and innovative professionals in Los Angeles’, PUMA hopes that the new facility will play an important part in both creating products and organising marketing activities which will resonate with US consumers. In addition to the design and creative space being built, the studio will feature a bespoke area for VIP clients to have exclusive access to PUMA’s upcoming products.
“Opening our PUMA Studio in LA is an important strategic move for us, as we seek to elevate our business in the United States,” said PUMA chief executive, Arne Freundt. “Our new home will allow us to attract the best talent in one of the most vibrant and creative cities globally to create great product propositions for the US market.”
