PUMA opens new Arizona warehouse
The new Arizona centre is intended to support growth in PUMA’s crucial US operations.
Sporting goods producer PUMA has opened a new distribution centre in Arizona, USA. The strategy behind this project is to support growth in what the company calls ‘the crucial US market’, which is said to be one of PUMA’s business priorities.
The new facility is in Waddell, a town some 40 kilometres from Phoenix. It covers an area of approximately 110,000 square metres and features a number of automation systems at the site, including automatic retrieval, storage robots and five kilometres of conveyors. PUMA already has warehouses operating in California and Indiana.
