OrthoLite expands European production

High-performance and comfort footwear solutions manufacturer OrthoLite has announced the expansion of its European operations, with the goal of reinforcing the company’s global vertical integration strategy and supply chain control. Investment is being made in the OrthoLite Europa (OEU) facility located at Almansa, Spain in order to strengthen manufacturing practices and consistency.

Since 2021, OrthoLite has quadrupled its EU production capacity at the Almansa plant. This factory is viewed as an important central hub for European customers, and its expansion is intended to increase capacity and local production solutions for European brand partners, as well as to boost innovation. OrthoLite is said to be introducing new technologies to support advancements in manufacturing processes, operational efficiencies and growth in capacity. The company’s factory will adopt lean line production and automation in line with an ongoing modernisation programme to meet increasing demand for its products.
