For several years, SATRA has organised special activities to assist companies working within the footwear industry to learn more about the growing topic of sustainability, and to develop an understanding of how they can incorporate it within their business operations.
This year’s SATRA sustainable pathway event – to be held in London on Tuesday 12th November 2024 – will bring together experts from across the footwear value chain, trade bodies and academia to share knowledge on how the footwear industry can become more sustainable.
Topics which are planned for discussion in this event include the transition to a circular economy, sustainability related legislation, and supply chain traceability. SATRA will also share the findings of its exciting durability for sustainability project that is being carried out this year in collaboration with a number of brands and retailers.
There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the day to meet with the presenters and other attendees. Therefore, whether you are looking to take your first step on a more sustainable pathway or to build on your company’s existing progress, this event in the heart of London is for you.
The price per ticket is SATRA members: GBP 125 (plus VAT where applicable); non-members: GBP 175 (plus VAT where applicable). The location of the event, which is to begin at 9:30 am, will be 12 Austin Friars, London EC2N 2HE UK.
