SATRA CAB meeting held at Kangnai
The strategic development of SATRA’s operations within Asia is ably assisted by the SATRA China Advisory Board (CAB), which brings together senior representatives of some of the most respected companies in the region. The event allows Board members to learn about SATRA’s latest innovations, in addition to advising the SATRA executive on important areas of policy relating to the Asian market.
The CAB recently held its 34th meeting, which was generously hosted by Wenzhou-based Kangnai. Executive director Michael Bodsworth chaired the meeting in which he provided an update on SATRA TimeLine software for calculating a true labour cost and the organisation’s programme of research projects. During the meeting, James Ho of Golden Chang was welcomed to his new role as CAB vice chairman, as he takes over from Robert Tsai, who has stepped back after many years serving in this position. We would like to extend our deepest appreciation for Mr Tsai’s hard work as vice chairman over many years.
The time spent together was very valuable, and the input received from CAB members continues to be of great importance in helping SATRA to provide valuable services in this key footwear producing region. The CAB meeting for 2025 will take place in Sichuan University, Sichuan province.
