SATRA visits Petcher Footwear

SATRA China general manager Anthony Mak recently paid a courtesy visit to Petcher Footwear. Mr Mak was warmly received by the company’s founder and general manager, Mr Eddie Fung, as well as founder and vice general manager, Mr Aitken Zhang, and Ms Abby Liang, who is assistant to the vice general manager.

As a SATRA Gold Member, Petcher Footwear has been working with SATRA for 20 years, since the company was establishment in 2004. During the visit, Mr Mak had the opportunity to learn about Petcher Footwear’s latest developments at their research and development centre and manufacturing base in Enping, Guangdong Province.

Petcher Footwear specialises in safety footwear and outdoor water-resistant footwear. SATRA has been supporting Petcher Footwear in a variety of different ways, such as testing, certification, training and consultancy. Moreover, Petcher’s in-house testing laboratory has been accredited by SATRA as meeting the required standards.

In addition to being a SATRA Gold Member, Petcher Footwear became a member of the SATRA China Advisory Board (CAB) in 2021. SATRA CAB is a consultancy group which benefits from the knowledge of footwear industry experts located in China.

Mr Mak thanked Mr Fung, Mr Zhang and Ms Liang for their hospitality, and everyone looks forward the continuing partnership between SATRA and Petcher Footwear in the years to come.
