UITIC unveils details of next congress

The International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians (UITIC) has announced that its 22nd Congress will be held in Shanghai, China, from August 31st to September 3rd 2025. The theme of this event is ‘footwear industry competitiveness and sustainability in the era of artificial intelligence’.

A formal banquet will take place on the first evening. The following two days will feature presentations and panel discussions investigating technologies for companies in the footwear industry, including advancements in AI and sustainability. During the first two days of the congress, delegates will also have the opportunity to visit local footwear factories, educational institutions and research centres.

A gala dinner will be held aboard a boat cruising the Huangpu River, and attendees can also go to the ACLE and Moda China trade fairs on the third day of the event.
