SATRA hosts Arsutoria trends workshop

Guests to the workshop learned about the trends predicted for Spring/Summer 2026.

International designer Monica Mei – from the Arsutoria Design School in Milan – led another stimulating trends forecast workshop at SATRA’s Kettering head office in January. The event was attended by some 50 SATRA members and fashion and leather students from the University of Northampton, who had all come to hear about the trends predicted for Spring/Summer 2026.

The presentation highlighted four main themes, called ‘Retro Modernism’, ‘From Nature With Love’, ‘Romantic Spirit’ and ‘Cyber Reflections’. After discussing each theme, Monica invited the guests to explore the samples of materials and components that she had brought with her to illustrate the main focus for the forthcoming seasons.
