DM has new president for the Americas region

Paul Zadoff’s responsibilities include developing Dr Martens’ footwear business in the Americas.

Paul Zadoff has been appointed as the new president of the Americas region for UK-based footwear company Dr Martens. A former Nike executive, Mr Zadoff’s responsibilities will include improving the growth, performance and profitability of Dr Martens’ business in the USA, as well as other parts of the Americas.

Mr Zadoff is taking up the position which became vacant after Jennifer Somer’s departure and will report directly to Dr Martens chief executive Ije Nwokorie. He was most recently chief operating officer at eyewear producer Caddis and also spent two decades at Nike, where he was employed in branding, product development and sales, In addition, Mr Zadoff has worked for fitness company TRX Training, Levi Strauss and Patagonia.

“His experience leading teams, working in partnership with wholesale customers, building omnichannel businesses and driving growth at some of the world’s most recognisable brands will be hugely valuable,” said Mr Nwokorie. “I look forward to working with Paul and have no doubt he will help to take our Americas business to another level.”
