Decathlon forges partnership for Asian strategy
The French company aims to develop long-term projects and strategies.

Multinational sporting goods retailer Decathlon has agreed a partnership with the Chinese Henan Prosper & Colomer Group. This will develop what are termed ‘long-term projects and strategies for comfortable, durable and sustainable sports footwear’.
The new agreement marks ‘a new chapter’ in the relationship between Decathlon and Reshine (the Chinese group’s footwear division). A decisive factor in the decision was Henan Prosper & Colomer’s offer to control the entire supply chain, from sourcing materials – using tanneries in Asia and Europe – to delivering finished products. Reshine is said to bring ‘deep expertise across the entire leather value chain’ to promote the highest standards.
