LaCrosse wins multi-million dollar order

Oregon-based LaCrosse Footwear Inc has announced a new $2.4 million order from the United States Marine Corps for its ‘Rugged All Terrain (RAT) Hot Boot’, made in the company’s Danner factory.

“In recent years, we’ve worked closely with the Marine Corps to innovate, design and produce extremely durable footwear for superior performance in harsh mountain terrain,” said Joseph P Schneider, President and Chief Executive of LaCrosse Footwear. “The recent recall of boots supplied to the Marine Corps by another manufacturer has created an urgent need in the field, and we are pleased to be able to respond immediately.”
