New ANCI President is appointed
Cleto Sagripanti, Managing Director of Manas Spa, has been appointed as
the next President of the National Association of Italian Footwear Manufacturers (ANCI) to serve until 2013.
With considerable experience in the footwear industry, Mr Sagripanti has been involved in the Association’s work on both a local and national basis. From 2002 to 2005, he served as Chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs of ANCI, when he was elected National Vice Chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria. Two years later, he became part of the ANCI Committee and has held the post of Chairman of the European Platform for new technologies, Chairman of the Footwear Manufacturers with Confindustria Macerata and Vice Chairman of Confindustria Macerata.
During the coming two years, Mr Sagripanti will be assisted by four new Vice Presidents: Gimmi Baldinini of Baldinini, Zintala’s Silvano Lattanzi, Diego Rossetti of the Rossetti company and Adriano Sartor from Stonefly. Led by the President, the new Board will continue to promote Italian footwear on international markets and defend Italian jobs, with the development of innovation and the training of young people also key in its plans.
