New director for Wolverine Worldwide
Wolverine Worldwide (WWW) has appointed Nicholas T Long to the company’s board of directors. Known as ‘Tom’, he graduated from the University of North Carolina, received an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and is Chief Executive of beverage company MillerCoors, which markets such drinks brands as Miller Lite, Coors Light, Leinenkugel’s and Blue Moon. Prior to joining MillerCoors, he served as President and Chief Executive (after being promoted from Chief Marketing Officer) of the Miller Brewing Company. Mr Long also spent a number of years at the Coca-Cola Company, where he served as President of its Northwest Europe Division.

Wolverine Worldwide’s portfolio of brands includes Bates, Chaco, Cushe, Hush Puppies, HYTEST, Merrell, Sebago and Wolverine. The company is also the footwear licensee of the CAT, Harley-Davidson and Patagonia brands.
