Safety shoes meet the standard
Indonesian shoemaker PT Forta-Larese has had its 3288 SLA safety footwear assessed against the European PPE Directive using EN ISO 20345:2004, and has been issued with an EC type-examination certificate by SATRA.
The company began producing sandals and military boots in 1971. Eleven years later, it diversified into safety footwear under the Cheetah trademark, specialising in nitrile-soled safety shoes. In 1995, PT Forta-Larese introduced polyurethane (PU)-soled safety footwear in line with changing consumer demand for more comfortable products. According to the company, its Cheetah nitrile and PU safety shoes have since been successfully tested against the Indonesian safety standard, SNI.
