Successful leather course in China

SATRA and Leather Wise held a successful two-day intensive leather course in Dongguan during March. The programme was delivered by SATRA’s Christine Ohren-Bird and Steve Rose, in addition to Amanda Michel from Leather Wise, with SATRA’s China Office providing translation support where needed.
Delegates attended from an interesting cross-section of member companies, including Regence, Crocs, Puma and P2i. As a result, the products discussed were also quite diverse.

There is a growing demand for training to develop product knowledge, and this course has appeal to any company in the leather product supply chain. It is suitable for members of staff holding such roles as designers, product technologists and quality managers.

We will be planning future events in China and other countries where there is a demand, details of which will be published in SATRA Bulletin.
