Mingzhi aims for laboratory accreditation

Mingzhi Sports Equipment (China) Co Ltd has joined SATRA in order to benefit from the Technology Centre’s experience in the footwear industry. The Jinjiang City, Fujian Province-based company is currently producing footwear for Deichmann, with the majority of its factory production lines being dedicated to this key customer. Mingzhi manufactures sporting and casual footwear for men, women and children, and new production facilities are currently being built.

While expanding its facilities, Mingzhi has expressed a desire to establish a SATRA-accredited laboratory, with technical support provided by SATRA from the start of the project. The company was founded in 2004 and currently has a production capacity of 10 million pairs of shoes. These are manufactured in two factories, located in Jinjiang City and Zhangzhou, a city in the south of Fujian Province approximately 62 miles (100km) from Mingzhi’s headquarters.
