New Stahl centres in Bangladesh and Ethiopia
Stahl has opened a new customer support centre in Bangladesh and is planning a similar facility in Ethiopia. According to the Netherlands-based company – which specialises in coatings for leather, flexible and non-flexible substrates, textiles and related products, as well as chemicals and dyes for leather processing – rapid development in the economies of both countries has led to continued growth in their leather industries. As a result, Stahl believes that this is the right time to provide a high level of local technical advice and training facilities.
During the recent opening of Stahl’s new offices in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Chief Executive Huub van Beijeren said: “This new service centre supports Stahl’s vision of providing service and support to customers on a local level.”
The company’s Ethiopian technical support centre is currently being prepared in Akaki Kality, a city that is located some 12 miles (20km) south of the capital Addis Ababa. This new facility is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2012.
