Hotter Shoes aims for rapid UK store expansion
Hotter Comfort Concept Shoes is on track to open a total of 19 new retail stores around the UK during 2012 in a major expansion programme. So far this year, the company has already started trading in several new locations, so reaching out to customers in Cheltenham, Harrogate, Oxford, Tunbridge Wells, Winchester and other towns and cities. Hotter Shoes now has 40 stores, and has plans to open more retail outlets in the coming year.
“It looks like 2013 will be another busy year for our retail team, as we’ve already identified a further 15 locations for stores,” commented Retail Director John Nicholas.
Hotter Comfort Concept claims to be the UK’s largest shoemaker, with one of the most advanced production facilities in Europe. By the end of 2012, almost 1.6 million pairs of the company’s shoes will have been designed and made in Hotter's Lancashire factory. All of the company’s footwear incorporates what are termed ‘Comfort Concept’ features, including smooth internal seams, removable insoles, soft leather uppers and soft padding.
