schuh opens kids’ stores

Scottish footwear producer schuh has launched a ‘schuh kids’ format – the first expansion of the schuh brand since the company was acquired by Genesco Inc in June 2011.

The first kids store opened in the Braehead commercial development in Scotland, with units in Lakeside shopping centre in Essex and Liverpool One following. All three will be attached to a schuh shop, creating a schuh ‘superstore’. However, the kids element will run as a separate business with its own entrance, staff and management team.
