Delcam forms new subsidiary for Australia and New Zealand

Delcam has announced that the software division of its Australian reseller Camplex (which has represented Delcam in Australia since 1988) has been converted into a wholly-owned subsidiary, Delcam Australia, to cover the sales and support of Delcam software products in Australia. Similarly, the Camplex office in Auckland has become Delcam New Zealand and will operate as a branch office of Delcam Australia.

Members of staff at the Camplex company will become employees of Delcam Australia and Delcam New Zealand, in order to minimise any impact of the change for customers. According to a Delcam spokesperson, the establishment of these full subsidiaries will enable additional long-term investment to be made in the sales and support operations in both Australia and New Zealand. It has been reported that a possible move to new offices may be involved for the Melbourne operation, as well as an increase in the number of employees to care for the 500 Delcam customers located in these countries.
