The overall comfort of footwear is achieved through a combination of many different properties. Effective moisture management makes a large contribution to comfort, but cannot be considered in isolation. Water resistance and thermal properties will also combine with effective moisture management to provide a balance of performance that is targeted for a particular activity or sector.
