Using lacquered heels

How component suppliers and manufacturers of finished footwear can get the best results from lacquered heels.

Lacquers can sometimes peel away from the surface of the plastic heel. This might happen during shoemaking when the heel is handled (such as during heel attachment) or when the shoe is worn. Lacquers are designed to adhere well to heel plastic, so this poor adhesion is usually as a result of contamination.
