Performance of marine shoes

Footwear intended for marine use is expected to perform correctly and withstand a reasonable amount of use in wet conditions.

There are many marine sports and activities in which footwear must, or is chosen to, be worn. Depending on the activity, the footwear may be fully submerged in the water or exposed to water regularly due to the external conditions. This article highlights some of the testing considerations for this type of shoe.
