The packaging and shipping of finished footwear

As most footwear today is manufactured many thousands of miles from its final destination, it must be correctly and safely packaged and stored.

After all the processes of shoemaking are complete, the footwear will need packaging before leaving the factory. Transport could take many weeks through extremes of atmospheric conditions, and the product must emerge at the end of its journey as good as on the day it was packed.
