How heels for women’s shoes and boots are evaluated.
This article mainly considers heels formed from rigid plastics such as high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), that are used in women’s footwear. Such heels may be slender and contain steel reinforcement, or they may be chunky with a hollow base and no reinforcement.
