This webinar is for designers, manufacturers and suppliers of all types of water resistant footwear. Tom Bayes, head of innovation at SATRA will explain about the definition of water resistant footwear to include information on how to keep water out but also preventing water damage.

Tom will go through design considerations, components and many common faults that occur when making water resistant footwear. He will explain the testing that occurs under SATRA test methods TM230 and TM444 as well as EN ISO 20344/5. The presentation will show the importance of drying times and testing regimes to ensure fit-for-purpose products and will also reveal some new developments in testing.
