SATRA’s “Within REACH” newsletter contains information about recent changes to REACH legislation which might affect the footwear, furniture and PPE industries. This is a free publication for SATRA members and the latest edition will be published in September.
In this webinar, SATRA chemistry experts will discuss the subjects mentioned in the articles from the Volume 2 Issue 7 edition.
Information about the new entry to REACH Annex XVII which restricts formaldehyde emissions in consumer goods from August 2026 will be discussed, along with other key articles such as new restrictions for lead content in PVC, proposals for bisphenol restrictions and proposals for expanding current restrictions on per and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Information about the latest SATRA restricted substances lists, recent additions and potential future entries to the Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) in EU REACH will also be included in the discussions, which will be chaired by Emma Norris, head of chemistry at SATRA.
