Successful modern manufacturing processes rely on accurate practical information and the ability of staff to understand and apply such information. In a global and competitive marketplace, knowledge and skills are increasingly important. SATRA has designed the SAFT (Satra Accredited Footwear Technologist) course for all technologists involved in any aspect of footwear production. Although this is primarily a member-only training course, modules 6 and 10 are open to non-members.
The SAFT award is an internationally recognised qualification, and is clear evidence that you are a footwear technologist with a proven range of knowledge. The full SAFT course covers up-to-date information in ten modules covering key areas of footwear manufacture, including the new sports footwear and leather modules and the new one-day laboratory management module.
Each module is led by SATRA specialists and subjects are covered in detail during two days of intensive training including comprehensive documentation.
Modules are normally priced at 1,200 GBP each but the introductory price for module 9 and 10 is 995 GBP.
The non-member price for module 10 is 1,200 GBP
