Kids' footwear Pedatron project

The Pedatron machine is a proven and trusted method for evaluating the abrasion resistance of adult footwear soles. As part of SATRA's commitment to innovation, an exciting new project is underway to investigate the feasibility of extending Pedatron testing to children's footwear, helping to broaden testing capabilities across a wider range of footwear products.

Join us online on 5 November 2026 for this members-only webinar, which will be presented by SATRA innovation and development technologist and Pedatron testing expert, Joana Faria. Joana will provide an overview of the project and share the latest progress and key findings.

This session will be hosted by Hannah Coe, SATRA’s head of footwear testing and innovation.
