SATRA STM 601 SATRA vamp flexing machine

This assesses the tendency of all types of upper materials, clothing leathers and upholstery coverings to crack or break as a result of flexing in wear. It is equally suitable for testing leather, plastic coated fabrics, poromerics and woven fabrics. This method can also be used to test seam construction during flexing.

The crease formed by this method is an accurate representation of those formed in normal wear.

The machine configuration allows a minimum of eight samples to be tested simultaneously and it is fitted with a counter which allows the total number of flexes to be pre-set.
