Burning behaviour of slippers

SCOPE
This method is intended to determine the burning behaviour of slippers. It does not address the behaviour or toxicity of gaseous emissions from the test specimen. The method is applicable to all types of slipper and in particular novelty slippers.
PRINCIPLE
A defined flame is applied to the test specimen for a specified time under controlled conditions and the burning behaviour of the test specimen is observed.
