Under Armour names new president
Terdema Ussery brings to his new role considerable experience in sports management and sportswear marketing.
Terdema Ussery has been appointed by Under Armour as president of global sports categories, and will be based in the US sportswear producer’s Baltimore, headquarters. In his new role, Mr Ussery will be responsible for the global management of all brand and business units, while he works to connect with the brand’s consumers.
Before joining Under Armour, Mr Ussery held the position of president and chief executive of the NBA championship-winning Dallas Mavericks for 18 years. He also served as president of Nike sports management, where his responsibilities included advertising, branding and marketing of the company’s secured brand partnerships and sponsored athletes.
