VF Corporation appoints new brand president

Silvia Onofri has 20 years of experience in the fashion industry.

Active lifestyle brand owner VF Corporation has announced the appointment of Silvia Onofri as brand president of the Napapijri range of products. She will report to Martino Scabbia Guerrini – VF’s executive vice president and president of EMEA, APAC and emerging brands.

According to her new employer, Ms Onofri has an extensive background spanning two decades in the fashion industry, and brings experience in such operations as driving brand positioning and business growth, maximising retail and wholesale excellence, improving operational efficiencies and delivering financial performance.

Silvia Onofri started her career as a marketing and product manager for Italian luxury fashion house Bulgari. In 2008, she moved to the Bally fashion company, and was later promoted from global trade marketing manager to the role of chief commercial officer global wholesale and licenses. Her responsibilities at Bally also included oversight of sales, strategic direction, vision and brand growth.
