PUMA chairman resigns
Jochen Zeitz first joined PUMA in 1990.
PUMA’s former Chief Executive Jochen Zeitz has resigned as chairman of its administrative board. In March, it was announced that Mr Zeitz was to take on a new role as head of sustainability at the company’s parent group, PPR. Then in June, Mr Zeitz stated that PUMA would be exploring alternatives to leather, which he was reported as saying was no longer environmentally sustainable.
Four years ago, Mr Zeitz established a foundation ‘to achieve the highest standards in sustainability through the balance of conservation, community, culture and commerce in privately managed areas’.
