PPE
As well as testing PPE for European and UK markets, SATRA can evaluate PPE destined for the USA, China and the rest of the world. Our facilities are equipped to test a wide range of products under varying conditions. In this series, SATRA experts share their knowledge of various aspects of PPE testing.
Certification
As a CE Notified Body and a UKCA Approved Body, SATRA is authorised to issue CE and UKCA marks for PPE, toys and construction products. The process involves checking that the product meets the appropriate safety and performance standards and that technical files and user information are correct. Here, SATRA’s experienced technologists provide basic introductions to the process through to advice for specific industries.
Footwear
With over 100 years of expertise in the footwear industry, and facilities in the UK, Europe and China, SATRA is uniquely placed to offer advice on all aspects of footwear testing. While most footwear services and resources are reserved for SATRA members, these webinar recordings provide an insight into the breadth of SATRA’s activities in this field.

REACH and Chemical Compliance
Every product manufactured and brought to market in Europe is, in some way, affected by European chemicals regulations. This is now enforced by the REACH Regulation (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals). These webinars cover various aspects of the regulations from a basic introduction to specific areas of legislation.
